First week (August 2000)

The man (Michael Vantucci) who made it all possible and Vito, (standing). Michael is one of the nicest people I have ever met.  I have been working with him very closely and have become close friends with him.

08-19-2001 August March of Dimes Ride in Belair Md. Raised over 150,000 before registration at the ride.  The day started out rainy but improved.  The ride was a lot of fun but very hard on the bike and drivers, as 2500 to 3000 motorcycles don't just all start moving at once.  I'll do it again next year but YOU have to give more money.  For the entire 50 miles we rode every driveway had people standing out and waving us on!  It was great. Channel 2 was there with Doctors what's her name! Anyway all the major channels were there.

Biker babe Erin!  I think she likes riding!  I know I really enjoy her company on these rides.  

All lined up for the ride and waiting over 25 minutes to move at 5 MPH for first 5 miles, ever try to hold a bike up at 5 MPH for 5 miles...  

The line of bikes from our stand point was pretty incredible, we could not see the beginning or end!  When we arrived back at Belair there were people that had already eaten and were leaving!  When Erin and I finished eating the last of the bikes made it in.  There were two incidents, one biker was sick and pulled over and my friend Vince (who's group I was supposed to be with but the staff parking people made me park in the second row and separated us), who's picture is below, and another biker ran off the road and into a ditch, nobody knows why cause they had to cross the road to do it!

August 2001, Fringy (Bike Name and now I can't change it!)  Was thinking of calling it Shadow but that was my last dogs name and I am not ready use that name again.  Anyway I got backed into by a neighbor and will not have my bike back for 6 weeks!  So Mike, at Harley Davidson of Fredrick is loaning me this brand new Springer!
